Dualregulation refers to the simultaneous or sequential control of a biological, mechanical, or regulatory process by two distinct mechanisms or agents. In cellular biology, it commonly describes the modulation of a protein or pathway by two separate post‑translational modifications, such as phosphorylation and ubiquitination, that together determine the protein’s activity, stability, or localization.
