Douchingyrityksiä is a Finnish term that translates to "douching attempts" or "efforts to douche." It refers to instances where a person attempts to perform vaginal douching. Vaginal douching is the practice of rinsing or washing out the inside of the vagina with water or other mixtures. Historically, douching was more common, but current medical consensus strongly advises against it.

Medical professionals generally discourage douching because it can disrupt the natural vaginal flora, which is crucial for maintaining vaginal health. This disruption can lead to an increased risk of infections, such as bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections.
