Dotykajcej

Dotykajcej is a form of the Polish verb dotykać, which means “to touch.” The word appears as a present participle in the feminine nominative singular, meaning “touching” when applied to a female subject. In Polish grammar, participles function similarly to adjectives, agreeing in gender, number, and case with the noun they modify. Consequently, dotykajcej would be used in sentences such as: “Kobieta dotykajcej dłonią drzewo budzi się i czuje świeżość.” Here the participle describes the woman's action of touching while also functioning as a modifier of “kobieta.”

The masculine equivalent of the same participle is dotykający, and the neuter form is dotykające.
