Doojoon

Doojoon is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor. He was born on June 4, 1989, in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. He is best known as a member of the popular K-pop group Highlight, formerly known as BEAST.

Doojoon began his career in entertainment in 2009 as a member of BEAST, which debuted under Cube Entertainment. The group achieved significant commercial success in South Korea and internationally, releasing numerous hit songs and albums. Doojoon established himself as a prominent vocalist and a charismatic performer within the group.

In addition to his music career, Doojoon has also pursued acting. He made his acting debut in the 2010 MBC sitcom "More Charming by the Day" and has since appeared in several television dramas, including "All My Love" (2011), "Iris II" (2013), "Let's Eat" (2014-2020), and "Radio Romance" (2018). His role in the "Let's Eat" series, where he played a food-loving character, garnered particular praise and popularity.

Doojoon is also recognized for his athletic abilities and often participates in sports-related variety shows. He has been noted for his leadership qualities and positive influence on younger artists. Following the expiration of their contracts with Cube Entertainment, Doojoon and the other members of Highlight established their own agency, Around Us Entertainment, in 2016, and continue to promote as a group.
