Disasterpeace

Disasterpeace is the alias of Rich Vreeland, an American electronic musician and composer. He is primarily known for his work in video game soundtracks, particularly for independent titles. His distinctive musical style often blends chiptune elements with modern electronic music, creating atmospheric and evocative soundscapes.

Vreeland's breakthrough came with his score for the critically acclaimed game "Fez" (2012). The soundtrack garnered significant praise for its introspective and nostalgic feel, perfectly complementing the game's unique puzzle-platforming mechanics and world. This success led to further opportunities in game development.

He has since composed music for a variety of other notable games, including "Hyper Light Drifter" (2016), "Braid" (2008, additional music), and "Braid Anniversary Edition" (2024).
