Deltebre
Deltebre is a municipality in the Baix Ebre comarca, in the province of Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain. It lies on the Ebro Delta, at the mouth of the Ebro River, where the river fans out into a network of channels and wetlands before reaching the Mediterranean. The municipality includes the town of Deltebre and several delta settlements along the river and coast, including coastal communities such as Riumar.
The delta landscape is characterized by marshes, reed beds, lagoons, sand dunes, rice fields, and tidal channels.
