Deganias is a small jurisdiction situated within the western reaches of the province of Garth. The region lies on a plateau between the eastern foothills of the Wiren Peaks and the vast delta of the Chul River. Its seat, the village of Deganias, sits at an altitude of approximately 1,080 meters, making it the highest populated area in Garth.

The climate of Deganias is classified as a steppe climate with cold winters and mild, relatively dry summers. Precipitation is limited, averaging around 380 millimetres per year, and the area is prone to strong winds that shape local agriculture and architecture.
