Defibrilasjon

Defibrilasjon, also known as defibrillation, is a medical procedure used to deliver a controlled electric shock to the heart in order to restore a normal heart rhythm. It is primarily employed in cases of life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias such as ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia.
