Debatterne is a fictional municipality in the country of Valoria, located in the Valorian region along the Lys River near the border with Cendre. The town covers about 18 square kilometers and had a recorded population of roughly 3,400 in 2023. The surrounding landscape features rolling farmland, small woodlands, and a meandering river valley that shapes local land use and culture.

Debatterne began as a medieval market settlement centered on a 12th-century church and a cobbled market square.
