Dantidurga
Dantidurga was a ruler of the Rashtrakuta dynasty in the Deccan and is traditionally regarded as the founder of the Rashtrakuta empire. He is credited with overthrowing the Chalukya king Kirtivarman II of Vatapi (Badami) and establishing Rashtrakuta sovereignty in the Deccan. By consolidating power and expanding control over surrounding territories, he laid the foundations for a hereditary dynasty and established a capital at Manyakheta, in present-day Karnataka.
