Collingwooda is a genus of fungi belonging to the family Amanitaceae. The genus was described in 2023 by Mycologist Else C. Vellinga and her colleagues, recognizing a distinct evolutionary lineage within the Amanitaceae that was previously considered part of the genus Amanita. The name Collingwooda honors the notable mycologist and botanist Christopher Collingwood.

Species within Collingwooda are typically characterized by their fleshy fruiting bodies, often exhibiting a cap with a central umbo and gills that are free from the stem. The spore print is usually white. While some species may bear superficial resemblance to common edible or poisonous mushrooms, careful microscopic examination is often required for definitive identification.

Research on Collingwooda has focused on its phylogenetic placement within the Amanitaceae, clarifying its relationship to other genera like Amanita and Limacella.
