Celldweller

Celldweller is the musical project of Klayton, an American electronic rock artist. The music combines elements of industrial rock, electronic, trance, and drum and bass, often featuring heavy guitar riffs, synthesized melodies, and aggressive vocalizations. Klayton is solely responsible for the writing, recording, and production of all Celldweller music, performing all instruments and vocals himself.

The project began in the late 1990s, with Klayton releasing his debut self-titled album, "Celldweller," in 2003. This album gained recognition for its unique sound and was featured in various video games and films. Subsequent albums, such as "Wish Upon a Blackstar" (2009) and "End of an Empire" (2012), continued to explore complex electronic soundscapes and evolved the project's sonic identity. Celldweller is known for its intricate production, often layering numerous synthesized and sampled sounds to create a dense and powerful auditory experience. Beyond albums, Klayton has also released numerous EPs and singles, as well as extensive remix work for other artists. The project's music has found a significant following within the electronic and industrial music scenes.
