Canplaythrough

Canplaythrough refers to an event in the HTMLMediaElement API. It signals that the browser estimates it can play the media from the current position through to the end without needing to stop for further buffering, assuming current network conditions and playback rate. It is a hint about uninterrupted playback rather than a strict guarantee.

This event is fired on media elements such as audio and video when enough data has been buffered to complete the entire media playback without additional buffering under typical conditions. It is distinct from the canplay event, which indicates that enough data is available to start playback, but not necessarily to finish without buffering.

Usage typically involves listening for the event before starting playback or enabling a UI control. For example:
