CLPklassificering, also known as the Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures, is a European regulation that aims to ensure the safe use of chemicals. It was established under the REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) regulation and is designed to provide a harmonised approach to the classification of chemicals based on their hazards. The CLP system is based on the Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), which is a voluntary international standard.
