CLAMPTOEDGE

ClampToEdge is a texture wrapping mode used in computer graphics and image processing. It is a method of determining how a texture is applied to a surface when the texture coordinates extend beyond the range of 0 to 1. In ClampToEdge mode, any texture coordinates that fall outside this range are clamped to the nearest edge of the texture. This means that if a texture coordinate is less than 0, it is set to 0, and if it is greater than 1, it is set to 1. This mode is particularly useful when you want to avoid repeating or mirroring the texture, and instead, you want the texture to simply extend to the edge of the surface. ClampToEdge is commonly used in applications such as 3D modeling, game development, and image editing, where precise control over texture mapping is required. It is supported by many graphics APIs, including OpenGL and DirectX.
