Testing typically involves radiated and conducted emissions and uses specific measurement distances and detector types. Compliance procedures include lab testing, documentation, and labeling to demonstrate conformity before market access in the U.S.

For manufacturers, understanding both frameworks is essential for global product launches. While CISPR-based standards support international harmonization, FCC rules address U.S. requirements, and testing procedures may differ. Pre-compliance testing and proper technical documentation help streamline approvals across markets.
