CCUCCSsystemen is a term used in Dutch-speaking contexts to describe an integrated control architecture that combines a central control unit (CCU) with distributed control and sensing subsystems (CCS) to coordinate complex industrial or building processes. The design aims to provide centralized decision-making with localized execution, enabling scalability, resilience, and cohesive data management.

In terms of architecture, a CCU acts as the supervisory core, running process control software and coordinating across CCS modules located near field devices. The communication backbone may include industrial Ethernet, fieldbuses, or wireless links. Data models typically use standardized representations to facilitate interoperability; interfaces include SCADA or HMI.

Functions of CCUCCSsystemen include supervisory control, process monitoring, data logging, event management, and alarm handling, as well as analytics. They support redundancy and failover for reliability and incorporate cybersecurity measures to protect both control traffic and stored data. The architecture emphasizes cohesive data aggregation and the ability to implement centralized decision rules while enabling local execution at the CCS level.

Applications span manufacturing, energy and utilities, water and wastewater management, building automation, and transportation infrastructure. CCUCCSsystemen are used wherever coordinated control of multiple subsystems over a shared process is required, and where data-driven optimization and centralized supervision add value.
