Bööggs

Bööggs is a traditional Swiss folk figure associated with the coming of spring. The Böögg is a large effigy, typically made of straw and filled with fireworks, which represents winter. The burning of the Böögg is a central event in spring festivals held in various Swiss towns, most notably in Zurich.
