Bulgaris

Bulgaris is a species of aquatic plant that belongs to the genus Vallisneria. It is a subtropical to tropical plant that is native to the warmer regions of Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Bulgaris is characterized by its slender, elongated leaves that can grow up to 1.5 meters in length. The leaves are typically dark green in color and are longitudinal, with a wavy margin. The plant produces submersed flowers in late summer, which are usually yellowish-green in color and are borne in long stalks.

It is often found in areas with a high level of nutrient availability, such as near livestock or sewage outflows.
