Buildingscale

Buildingscale is a conceptual and practical framework used in architecture and engineering to describe and optimize the design and performance of a building at the scale where form, structure, systems, and occupancy interact most directly. It addresses how massing, orientation, envelope performance, and internal layouts affect energy use, daylight, acoustics, thermal comfort, and operations over the building’s life cycle.
