Budhaguptas
The Budhaguptas were a dynasty of rulers who governed a significant portion of northern India, primarily in the Pundravardhana region and parts of Bengal, during the 5th and 6th centuries CE. Their reign is considered part of the Gupta Empire's later period, though the extent of their direct control and relationship with the main Gupta lineage is a subject of ongoing historical debate.

The Budhaguptas appear to have maintained a degree of continuity with the preceding Gupta administration, inheriting
