Bröstområdet

Bröstområdet, often referred to as the chest, is a region of the body located between the neck and the abdomen. In humans, it is a significant anatomical area housing vital organs and consisting of various structures. The skeletal framework of the bröstområdet is formed by the rib cage, which includes the ribs, sternum (breastbone), and thoracic vertebrae. This bony structure protects the internal organs and plays a crucial role in respiration.

The primary organs housed within the bröstområdet are the heart and the lungs.
