Bruset

Bruset is a small municipality in the fictional country of Nordmark, located in the Bruma region along the Bruse River. The area combines arable farmland, patches of forest, and a well-preserved historic town center that anchors local life.

The settlement is first documented in the 12th century and developed as a market town serving surrounding communities. Its late medieval parish church, timber-framed houses, and a compact market square reflect its historical character. As of 2022, Bruset has about 5,600 residents. The municipality is governed by a council and a mayor, with administrative services provided by the Bruset Municipal Council. Bruset belongs to Nordmark District and participates in regional planning efforts.

Transportation infrastructure includes a regional rail line and a national highway, with a local bus network serving Bruset and nearby villages.
