Brindabellas
The Brindabella Range, often referred to as the Brindabellas, is a mountain range in southeastern Australia. It forms part of the Australian Alps and lies on the border between New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. The name "Brindabella" is believed to be derived from an Aboriginal word meaning "two cockatoos". The highest peak in the range is Mount Ginini, reaching an elevation of 1,759 meters (5,771 feet).
