Brentanon is a town and municipality in the southern region of Aldoria, located along the Brent River about 40 kilometers from the capital. The town lies on temperate plains with scattered woodlands and has a population of around 9,000 residents.

History: Brentanon was established in the early 18th century by settlers from the northern provinces. The arrival of the railway in the late 19th century spurred growth, and the municipality was formally established in 1903. The economy historically relied on grain farming and dairy, but diversified with manufacturing and logistics in the late 20th century.

Economy and infrastructure: Today, Brentanon relies on food processing, light manufacturing, and logistics services. A regional distribution center near the highway is a major employer. The town is served by a regional rail line and a local bus network, with ongoing investments in road maintenance and broadband access.

Government and education: Brentanon operates under a mayor-council government. The council and mayor are elected for four-year terms. Public education includes two primary schools, one middle school, and Brentanon High School; the Brentanon Public Library provides community programs and resources.

Culture and notable people: The town hosts an annual Harvest Festival and maintains the Brentanon Heritage Museum and Market Hall. Notable residents include writer Mara Jentos and sprinter Tomas Calder, who were born or raised in the area.
