BrailleCode is a standardized approach for representing braille text in digital environments. It defines a machine-readable encoding that maps each braille cell to a compact code point and specifies metadata for punctuation, numerals, capitalization, and formatting. The system is designed to complement multilingual braille transcription by enabling reliable round-trip conversion between tactile braille and on-screen text while preserving the semantic structure of the original material.
