Borrsystem
Borrsystem is a term used in Swedish technical contexts to describe the organized approach to drilling and boring operations in manufacturing and construction. It denotes the combination of tools, fixtures, and procedures that enable holes to be placed with consistent position, size, and depth, and to be finished to a defined tolerance when required. A borrsystem typically integrates locating devices, such as jigs and fixtures, with the cutting tools (drill bits, countersinks, reamers or boring heads) and the means of clamping and guiding the workpiece. For automated environments, it may also include CNC programs, robotic handling, and sensor-based feedback that ensures repeatability.
