Bonvoy

Bonvoy is the loyalty program of Marriott International. It was launched in 2019 to unify Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards, and Starwood Preferred Guest into a single program. Bonvoy covers Marriott’s global portfolio of hotel brands, from luxury properties such as The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, and JW Marriott to mid-range and boutique hotels under brands like Marriott Hotels, Sheraton, Westin, Renaissance, Autograph Collection, and Aloft, spanning thousands of properties worldwide.

Members earn Bonvoy points through eligible hotel stays, dining at participating properties, and purchases with Marriott-associated credit cards. Points can be redeemed for free nights, room upgrades, experiences, or transferred to airline and other loyalty programs. The program also offers occasional promotions and status bonuses.

Elite status tiers are Silver Elite, Gold Elite, Platinum Elite, Titanium Elite, and Ambassador Elite. Silver requires 10 eligible nights per year, Gold 25, Platinum 50, Titanium 75, and Ambassador Elite 100 nights. The top tier typically includes a personal ambassador and higher benefits, with additional perks such as bonus points, late checkout, and room upgrades where available.

Marriott Bonvoy also operates a family of co-branded credit cards in the United States issued by American Express and Chase, offering accelerated earnings and status bonuses. The program has a broad network of airline and other partners for point transfers (for example, transfers to airline miles at a ratio of 3:1 with a 5,000-mile bonus per 60,000 points).
