Blasdüsen
Blasdüsen, or blow nozzles, are devices that produce directed jets of compressed air or other gases to impart a localized airflow. They are used to clean, dry, cool, or convey workpieces in industrial settings. Blasdüsen come in a range of geometries, including round or conical nozzles, flat or slit nozzles (air knives), and larger air-curtain arrangements. The choice of nozzle geometry, orifice size, and operating pressure determines the outlet velocity, flow rate, and the distance at which effective blow-off or drying occurs.
Design and performance: Nozzles are designed to maximize efficiency and minimize noise and energy use. Some
Applications: Common applications include removing chips, dust, or coolant from machined parts; drying surfaces after washing;
Safety and maintenance: Use only compressed air at appropriate pressures; never point jets at personnel; use
