Billedsensor is a hypothetical sensor technology proposed for direct integration into billing systems to capture usage data at the point of measurement, with built-in mechanisms to ensure data integrity and prevent tampering. The term is a portmanteau of billing and sensor and is used in thought experiments, speculative engineering discussions, and some fiction to explore how real-time measurement could feed transparent charges.

Billedsensor typically combines multi-modal sensing with a secure processing element.
