Beosztások

Creating and maintaining beosztások typically involves job analysis, the preparation of job descriptions, and the organization’s charting to show relationships and hierarchies.

In the scheduling sense, beosztás relates to allocating work time and duties to available staff. This includes shifts, hours, days off, and rotation patterns designed to ensure coverage for operations while complying with labor laws and collective agreements. Rosters must balance demand, worker availability, and equitable distribution of less desirable or overtime hours.

Management of beosztások often relies on human resources information systems, roster software, or spreadsheets.
