BengalTiger
The Bengal tiger, Panthera tigris tigris, is a subspecies of tiger native to the Indian subcontinent. It is the most numerous of all tiger subspecies, though still endangered. These majestic predators inhabit a variety of habitats, including tropical rainforests, mangrove swamps, and grasslands. Bengal tigers are characterized by their distinctive orange fur with black stripes, though variations in color exist, such as white tigers, which are a color mutation.
These powerful carnivores are apex predators, primarily hunting large prey like deer, wild boar, and buffalo.
