Behavioristlikud refers to aspects related to behaviorism, a school of thought in psychology. Behaviorism primarily focuses on observable and measurable behaviors, rather than internal mental states. Key proponents of behaviorism include Ivan Pavlov, John B. Watson, and B.F. Skinner.

Central to behavioristlikud is the concept of conditioning. Classical conditioning, observed by Pavlov, involves learning through association, where a neutral stimulus becomes associated with an unconditioned stimulus to elicit a conditioned response. Operant conditioning, developed by Skinner, focuses on how consequences of behavior influence its future occurrence. Behaviors followed by reinforcement are more likely to be repeated, while those followed by punishment are less likely.

Behavioristlikud principles have been applied in various fields, including education, therapy, and animal training. Applied behavior analysis (ABA), for example, uses behaviorist principles to understand and change behavior, particularly in individuals with developmental disabilities. The emphasis is on environmental influences and how they shape behavior through learning processes.

While behaviorism has been influential, it has also faced criticism for potentially neglecting the role of cognitive processes and subjective experiences in human behavior. Despite this, the focus on empirical observation and the efficacy of behavioral interventions remain significant contributions to psychology.
