BattleMechs
BattleMechs are large, humanoid combat machines piloted by a single crew member, and serve as the backbone of ground forces in the BattleTech universe. Ranging in height from roughly eight to twelve meters, they are equipped with heavy armor, an internal endoskeleton, and a fusion engine that provides the primary propulsion. A gyroscope stabilizes balance, and heat sinks manage excess heat generated by weapons and engines. The cockpit is embedded within the torso, often protected by thick armor and redundancies.
Mechs are equipped with a mix of weapons, typically arranged in two or more limbs: ballistic weapons
