Bananaquit
The bananaquit is a small, nectar-feeding bird found in the Caribbean and parts of Central and South America. There are several subspecies, each with slight variations in plumage and distribution. Bananaquits are easily recognizable by their bright yellow underparts, dark grey or black upperparts, and a distinctive white patch on their throat.
