Bagsystemer, often translated as "bagging systems" or "bagging machinery," refers to equipment and processes used to fill, seal, and package a wide variety of products into bags. These systems are fundamental in many industries, including food processing, agriculture, chemicals, and manufacturing, for efficiently preparing goods for storage, transport, and sale.

The core function of a bagsystem is to accurately dispense a measured amount of product into a bag and then securely close it. For products with specific shapes or sizes, such as individual food items, form-fill-seal machines are often employed, creating the bag from a roll of film as part of the process.

Sealing methods are crucial for maintaining product integrity and shelf life. Common sealing techniques include heat sealing, which melts and fuses plastic film edges, and clipping or stapling for certain types of bags. Advanced bagsystemer can also incorporate features like nitrogen flushing to extend shelf life, weigh scales for precise portioning, and robotic integration for palletizing or case packing. The automation level of these systems can range from semi-automatic to fully automatic, catering to different production volumes and labor requirements.
