BPKN
BPKN stands for Badan Pengawas Keuangan dan Pembangunan, which translates to the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency of Indonesia. Established in 1971, it was an independent government institution responsible for overseeing the financial performance and development projects of government agencies and state-owned enterprises. Its primary mandate was to ensure that government funds were used efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with regulations. BPKN conducted audits, evaluations, and investigations into various aspects of government operations to identify irregularities, corruption, and inefficiencies.

In 2011, BPKN was integrated into the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) as part of a broader
