BOLopleidingen is a Dutch term referring to vocational education and training programs within the MBO (Middelbaar beroepsonderwijs) system. MBO is a level of education in the Netherlands for students aged 16 and above, providing practical, job-oriented training. BOL stands for "Beroepsgerichte Opleiding," which translates to "Occupation-Oriented Education."

These programs combine theoretical instruction at a vocational school with practical experience gained through internships or work placements. The duration of a BOL opleiding varies, typically ranging from one to four years, depending on the chosen specialization and qualification level. Students spend a significant portion of their time at school, acquiring knowledge and skills relevant to their chosen profession.
