The B7III, also known as the Sony Alpha 7 III, is a full-frame mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera released by Sony in February 2018. It is a popular model, often referred to as a "workhorse" camera due to its versatile capabilities and relatively affordable price point for a full-frame sensor.

The B7III features a 24.2-megapixel back-illuminated full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor, paired with Sony's BIONZ X image processing engine. This combination allows for excellent image quality with a wide dynamic range and good low-light performance, with a native ISO range of 100-51200, expandable to 50-204800. The camera boasts a sophisticated autofocus system with 693 phase-detection and 425 contrast-detection AF points, covering approximately 93% of the image area. It also includes features like Real-time Eye AF for both humans and animals, and Real-time Tracking.

In terms of video capabilities, the B7III can record 4K video at up to 30 frames per second with full pixel readout and no pixel binning, utilizing the full width of the sensor. It also offers S-Log2, S-Log3, and HLG picture profiles for advanced color grading. The camera is equipped with a 5-axis in-body image stabilization system providing up to 5 stops of compensation. It features a tilting rear LCD touchscreen, dual SD card slots, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The B7III is known for its robust build quality and good battery life.
