Avblomstring is a Swedish term that describes the process of a plant finishing its flowering period and entering a phase of senescence or seed production. It refers to the wilting, drying, and eventual shedding of the flower parts. This natural biological process is a crucial stage in the plant's life cycle, marking the end of its reproductive phase for that particular bloom.
