5. Data Protection Officer (DPO): Organizations that process large amounts of personal data or engage in high-risk activities must appoint a DPO to oversee compliance with the framework.

The Authorization Framework is enforced by the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, which can impose fines and other penalties for non-compliance. It is designed to protect individuals' privacy while promoting innovation and economic growth. Organizations must stay updated with the framework to ensure they are compliant with Norwegian data protection laws.
