Autohälytys

Autohälytys, also known as a car alarm, is an electronic device designed to deter theft and vandalism of a vehicle. It typically consists of a siren, an immobilizer, and various sensors that detect unauthorized entry or movement. When triggered, the alarm emits a loud audible sound to alert people nearby and may also flash the vehicle's lights.

The primary function of an autohälytys is to act as a deterrent. The noise and attention generated by a sounding alarm can discourage potential thieves from attempting to break into or steal the vehicle. Many modern car alarms also include features like remote locking and unlocking, keyless entry, and even GPS tracking capabilities, allowing owners to locate their vehicle if it is stolen.
