Autoafirmações are positive statements or affirmations that individuals repeat to themselves to challenge and change negative or limiting thought patterns. The practice is based on the principle that consciously focusing on desired beliefs and outcomes can influence one's subconscious mind and, consequently, their behavior and emotional state. These affirmations are typically phrased in the present tense and describe a desired state as if it were already a reality. For example, instead of thinking "I hope I'm confident," one might repeat "I am confident and capable."
