Auswesens

Auswesens is a term found in some German-language philosophical and literary discussions to denote the outward, social, or externally visible aspects of a person or entity. It refers to what can be perceived, shown, or performed in public—the public persona, appearance, behavior, and other outward expressions—distinct from the inner essence or core being, often called Innenwesen. The word derives from Aus- meaning out and Wesen meaning being or essence; Auswesens is the plural form, used when discussing multiple outward aspects or manifestations.

In theoretical usage, Auswesens is treated as a set or collection of externally observable traits and performances

In literature and speculative fiction, Auswesens is used to describe how characters or entities display themselves
