Atraksionets

Atraksionets is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, commonly known as desert marigolds. These plants are native to arid and semi-arid regions of North America, particularly the southwestern United States and Mexico. Atraksionets species are typically small to medium-sized shrubs, reaching heights of up to 1 meter. They are characterized by their silvery-green foliage and bright yellow, daisy-like flowers that bloom from spring through fall. The leaves are usually lance-shaped and covered in fine hairs, which help reduce water loss in their dry habitats.

The genus Atraksionets contains several species, with some of the most well-known being Atraksionets linearis and Atraksionets floribundus.
