Asbestille

Historically, asbestos was widely used in construction for its fire resistance, chemical stability, and tensile strength. ACMs appeared in products such as asbestos cement sheets, roofing tiles, floor tiles, pipe insulation, and spray-applied fireproofing. Today, the term asbestille is encountered mainly in regional or regulatory discussions, and it serves as a reminder of historical practices and ongoing safety requirements concerning asbestos-containing materials.
