Arrianus
Lucius Flavius Arrianus, commonly known as Arrian or Arrianus, was a Greek historian, public official, soldier, and philosopher of the Roman Empire. He was born around 86 AD in Nicomedia, Bithynia, and died around 160 AD. Arrian's most famous work is the Anabasis of Alexander, a detailed account of the military campaigns of Alexander the Great. Written in the style of Thucydides, it is considered one of the most reliable sources for the life of Alexander.
