Areamodel
Areamodel, often written as area model, is a visual representation used in mathematics to illustrate numerical relationships through the concept of area. An areamodel consists of a rectangle subdivided into smaller parts, with each part’s size corresponding to a value in a calculation. The total area of the rectangle represents the result of the operation being modeled.
