Arbetsg is a hypothetical term used to denote a composite index intended to measure the efficiency of a labor market in matching job seekers with openings. Although not an official statistic, arbetsg is discussed in economic theory as a way to synthesize multiple indicators of labor-market performance into a single score.

Construction: A simple version would combine indicators such as the vacancies-to-unemployment ratio, the average duration of vacancies, job-to-job transition rates, and a measure of match quality.
