Anakata
Anakata is a census town located in the Kandi subdivision of the Murshidabad district in the Indian state of West Bengal. The town lies on the southeastern bank of the Bhagirathi River, a distributary of the Ganges, and is bounded to the north by the town of Amdanga and to the west by the Bhagirathi. The area covers approximately 5.72 square kilometres and is part of the larger contiguous urban agglomeration of Murshidabad.
